They are expecting about 900 cars in this year’s show. People will get a chance to hear, see and smell the rubber as the tires spin on the pavement and feel the smoke in their face. Everything they’ve done in the past will be the same this year.

We really enjoy meeting fellow street rodders and make this event the most fun and best car show ever attended. We feel we have been very successful in our efforts as the public and community reception of our event has been terrific. Event sponsors provide substantial support though monetary and product donations, and the participants bring their outstanding and valuable vehicles to our show for all to see and enjoy.

There are tons of options, and most lines travel to this destination, so you won't have any problem finding the right one for you. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or at Lee’s Marketplace, for $10 for adults 18-years and older. Dave Harrison, a 37-year member of the Cache Valley Cruise-In and the one who answers the phone for the group, said he’s had calls from surrounding states wondering if they were going to have a Cruise-In this year.

We incorporated in 1991 as a nonprofit organization governed by a set of bylaws that provide for a club president and board of directors. Our membership is made of member families that have a strong commitment to hosting a high quality cruise-In for the participants, spectators, and event sponsors.

Utah’s Cache Valley Cruise-In Celebrates July 4 with Classic Cars

They will take a vote in August to see if they are going to have a parade again or not. The group would like to keep the tradition going for many reasons, including the support they get from over 45 local families who volunteer every year. Karen Higley said her family liked the wide assortment of vehicles in the parade. Previously longtime Wellsville residents, Higley, her husband, Jeremy and their children now live in North Logan as they build a home in Preston. This car is equipped with the LT1, 5.7L multi-port fuel injection motor, giving 300 hp and 340 lb.-ft. When your ticket is scanned you will be provided a wrist band to allow reentry to the fairgrounds if you need to leave for the restroom or a snack. You will still need to have your printed or email ticket to verify your reserved seat.

The giveaway car is a year-long project undertaken by the Cache Valley Cruising Association and sponsored by many businesses both local and national. Proceeds from the show go toward the next year’s show, next years project car, and other club activities. The Cache Valley Cruise-In is a rod run event held annually in Logan, Utah (90 miles north of Salt Lake City) and is hosted by the Cache Valley Cruising Association.
